Overview:

The Delta Omega Society is a national honor society that aims to encourage research and scholarship among students taking graduate study in public health. Delta Omega was founded in 1924 at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, to promote excellence and recognize attainment in scholarship and research. The Society is governed by the Delta Omega constitution, by-laws and governance manual. Since its establishment, the Society has expanded to 48 chapters throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. The Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work Alpha Omega Chapter was founded at Florida International University in 2005.
